Dear GT User + (possibly Dev), I am responsible for the architecture of an internal grid. Sometime ago I made the decision to use GT4.2 as a core component due to the Web Service nature of the toolkit. With the move to GT5, the toolkit moved away from the Web Service nature(understandable based on the advances in WS toolkits and associated software).
Reading the mailing list, there was discussions around CRUX + GT5 to support a migration from GT4.2(WS). http://lists.globus.org/pipermail/announce/2009-October/000058.html Is this still something that is in planning or actively being considered?
