I suggest you look at using Globus Online (www.globusonline.org) instead.  It 
is a Software-as-a-Service replacement for RFT, with considerably more 
functionality, better reliability, and higher performance.  Like RFT, Globus 
Online can work with existing GridFTP servers and security credentials.
