On behalf of the Globus Toolkit 5.2 development team I am pleased to announce
the 2nd *Alpha* version for GT 5.2. We are calling this release GT 5.1.0. We
have at least one more 5.1.x release before announcing a first stable 5.2.0
release.
Highlights of this GT 5.1.0 (Alpha) release include:
* Added support for additional RPM-based linux platforms
- CentOS 5, Fedora 13 and 14, RedHat 5, and Scientific Linux 5.5
* Added support for MyProxy and GSI-Openssh native packages
* Added a new source installer for non RPM-based platforms
