[gt-user] How to estimate data transfer time by gsiftp?

Hello,

I  am working on a project. I need to transfer data files from
     1- data source to computing nodes.
      OR
     2-  on the same data source from one file location to another.

using gsiftp (globus-url-copy).  How can I estimate the time taken by gsiftp
(GridFTP) to transfer data without actual transfer of the data files?
