Thank you for your reply. You were correct in your first assumption i did "create/ attempt to create" a end user certificate inside of the myproxy server and retrived a proxy with myproxy-logon. the proxy does seem be valid and globus accepts as far as i have been able to tell but i was un-able to show the certificate chain with grid-proxy-info -path ? It seemed to want to give me the file system path to my proxy certificate. I am using globus 5.0.4 under linux rhel 5.6 and the ssl is somewhat dated OpenSSL 0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 01 Jul 2008, is there another way to show the full certificate chain?
