Well, Globus was installed from source files and with pbs and condor gram additions. I have two globus_gram_client.h in GLOBUS_LOCATION/etc gcc64*/ , but none in the GridWay package. The makefile-header only contains: "No packages were found that matced your query".
However now I tried installing the newer 5.7.1 and then everything worked out fine. Possibly this one is adapted better to Globus 5. Anyway thanks for all the help. Can you check that the globus_gram_client.h file exists? What are the contents of /tmp/take2/gridway_5.6.1/makefile-header? Regards, Dr. Eduardo Huedo Cuesta Associate Professor (Profesor Titular), Universidad Complutense de Madrid http://dsa-research.org/ehuedo 2011/7/11 Stian Mikelsen <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Thanks for the quick reply. I am installing GridWay 5.6.1. During the make I get this error while installing with -enable-globus-scheme. In file included from ../include/gw_client.h:24, from ./client/gw_client_job_match.c:23: ../include/gw_job.h:30:32: error: globus_gram_client.h: No such file or directory In file included from ../include/gw_client.h:24, from ./client/gw_client_job_match.c:23: ../include/gw_job.h:177: error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or '__attribute__' before 'gw_job_get_gram_state' make[1]: *** [client/__srcdir__drmaa_libdrmaa___GLOBUS_FLAVOR_NAME__la-gw_client_job_match.lo] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/GridWay/gridway_5.6.1/src' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Without that configure argument I get this one: /tmp/take2/gridway_5.6.1/makefile-header:1: *** missing separator. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/take2/gridway_5.6.1/src' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 However if the globus-devel.. file is not needed then this is probably an error connected to GridWay and not Globus. Which version of GridWay are you installing? How is it failing? I have tested it and all seems to works fine. However when I tried to install gridway I noticed that I didn't have any of the globus-devel-env files, only the globus-user-env files in globus/etc/. This lack seems to be the reason my gridway install fails(as it claims to require them). Is there any way to create these files whit a make argument for example?
