Hi, We are testing the use of Globus Toolkit in a grid solution together with Condor, LSF and Torque. The purpose of the grid is high performance computing.
My first question is whether Globus is able to distribute jobs and do load balancing between heterogeneous grids with different queue systems (e.g. Condor and LSF), or do we need a meta-scheduler like GridWay in order to handle this? Additionally we would like to have an easy to use web interface which less technically savvy personnel. It should be easy to upload and submit jobs to the grid controlled by Globus, and possibility for different submit options, and some status and queue feedback. Does anyone have a solution to recommend? Preferably open source.
