Hi Ben, I recommend installing Globus Connect (https://www.globusonline.org/globus_connect/) on your machine and use Globus Online (https://www.globusonline.org/) as a GridFTP client to move data between your machine and the GridFTP server. Globus Connect is simple one-click install available for Linux, Windows and Mac.
