Hi,

I've been using globus-url-copy for a couple of months between two RHEL5.5
servers connected over a high latency low bandwidth link. We are using
sshftp and udt packets and it works great to improve performance when
compared to sftp or scp. The issue we are having now is, we have many small
files that come into an "outbox" at various times and we need to send them
as soon as they show up, but we are taking a very large performance hit from
ssh because it has to establish the initial connection every time. Is there
a way to essentially get a persistent globus-url-copy tunnel open and we can
just drop files into it whenever they show up so we can avoid the initial
handshake every time?

Thanks,
Dan
