Hi everyone,
I am pleased to announce the release of an online guide to Globus Online
that Lisa Childers and I have been working on for the last couple of
months: The Resource Provider’s Guide to Globus Online.
https://www.globusonline.org/media/publications/The_Resource_Providers_Guide_to_Globus_Online/
This guide explains Globus Online from scratch, including how to set up
a Globus Online Transfer endpoint and, for more advanced administrators,
how to set up your own GridFTP and MyProxy servers, including an
introduction to the security concepts that are essential to such a setup.
Although the guide is intended primarily for resource providers, other
users may still find the introductory chapters useful. These chapters
explain the motivation behind Globus Online, and its potential benefits
to an organization, including hands-on examples to give you a better
feel for how Globus Online works.
Cheers!
