Hi all,

A user have installed the globus-gram-client-tools from the official Globus Debian Repository. When she submits a job to a GRAM server using globus-job-submit she gets back a URL that she wants to use to watch the status of the job. She noticed, that she can change parts of that URL and globus-job-status will always return the status
"DONE". That can't be right - the logfile tells me something like that:
"status=-156 uri=<something> msg="Unable to find job for URI" reason="the job contact string does not match any which the job manager is handling""

GT5.2.0 and 5.2.1 documentation http://www.globus.org/toolkit/docs/5.2/5.2.1/gram5/user/#gram5-cmd-globus-job-status states in bugs "The globus-job-status program can not distinguish between the case of the job manager terminating for any reason and the job being in the DONE state."

Is there a timeline for this bug to be fixed?

Thanks,
Sebastian
