When building the globus toolkit on Mac OS X 10.8, and higher, I
install libtool into the same location (${GLOBUS_LOCATION}) that I
plan to install globus to and then ensure this location is added to
the appropriate flags when building globus:
CPPFLAGS="-I$GLOBUS_LOCATION/include" LDFLAGS="-L$GLOBUS_LOCATION/lib" make
