Hi there,

I have a CentOS6 system with Globus GridFTP server on it.

globus-gridftp-5.2.2-1.el6.x86_64
globus-gridftp-server-6.38-1

I have been asked, by someone wishing to use my endpoint (ooh-err!),
to install the UDT driver on top of the existing GridFTP server.

Been pointed to a gt-user thread "GT 5.2.5 with UDT", posting

  http://lists.globus.org/pipermail/gt-user/2013-November/010655.html

in which there are suggestions to the effect that

1) GridFTP UDT has been packed for RPM-based systems
2) You can build from source (Debian-like system instructions were given)

Not wishing to "build it all from source" if there was an RPM I could have
used, I went looking for same, but have come up empty-handed.

I have thought to download and re-build some "likely candidate" SRPMs
in case the missing UDT driver might pop out of the woodwork given an
rpmbuild flag or two but having now rebuilt these three,

globus-gridftp-server
globus-xio-gridftp-driver
udt

none of the files, similar to that mentioned in the "GT 5.2.5 with UDT"
thread, namely

    /usr/include/globus/globus_xio_udt_ref.h
    /usr/lib/libglobus_xio_udt_driver.la
    /usr/lib/libglobus_xio_udt_driver.so
    /usr/lib/libglobus_xio_udt_driver.so.0
    /usr/lib/libglobus_xio_udt_driver.so.0.0.6

nor anything like them have surfaced.

Is there an RPM/SRPM for the missing UDT driver in existence somewhere ?

Happy to be told I have missed something obvious,
