That’s an openssl issue. The 4.0 versions of Globus included a then-current version that didn’t include support for the SHA-2 hash. I think that was added in OpenSSL 0.9.8. GT 5.0.x and 5.2.x versions do not include the old version of OpenSSL but link against what is installed in /usr. Joe
