(resending from correct address) Greetings,
Vanderbilt has developed a distributed file system and accompanying DSI. Unfortunately, when trying to test and develop locally, lt_dl implements its own dynamic library search algorithm, which doesn't obey LD_LIBRARY_PATH. This means that any globally installed globus module will be preferred over local installations. The only way I've found to be able to test locally is to remove the .so from /usr/lib64. Am I missing something easy? Is there some way to tell globus to look for plugins in a different directory than normal? Thanks! -- -- Andrew Melo
