MUST-HAVE SKILLS: 10+ years relevant experience in two or more of the following areas:Database Administration, RDBMS design and development, and client/server application. High volume, high transaction previous experience essential. Experience with On-line, 24x7 operations is essential. Experience with Oracle 10G RAC & ASM Administration required (Solaris &Linux platforms desired) Experience with Dataguard (physical and logical standby) is a must. Oracle 9i or 10g certifications strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience designing and implementing high availability solutions (RAC). Experience with tuning and optimizing database performance (Oracle 9i and/or 10G). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or equivalent experience. Works independently as part of a team, including cross functional teams.Interact with IT at all levels. NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS: Experience with OLAP technologies desired.
