Job Tittle : Microstrategy developer Location : Dallas, TX Duration : contract-to-hire Position Description: Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) team is actively seeking a MicroStrategy BI/Report Developer. While the primary job responsibly is report/document/dashboard development, the selected candidate will also be responsible for MicroStrategy administration. Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent User interface design skills and concepts Minimal of 3 years experience with MicroStrategy Desktop tools developing reports/documents/dashboards including creating objects such as filters, prompts, etc Knowledge of MicroStrategy Architect and the impact it has on report design Exposure or training with MicroStrategy 9.0 Experience writing SQL Ability to work as part of a team Willing to coach less experienced team members on MicroStrategy best practices be willing to work outside the job description in order to get the job done Desired Skills and Knowledge: MicroStrategy Administration experience (for example, creating user ID's, migrating objects using Object Manger, etc.) Experience with, or knowledge of, Agile/SCRUM development methodologies General understanding of Data Warehouse concepts such as star schema and snowflakes MicroStrategy SDK experience is a preferred bonus Programming experience (SQL, Visual Basic, C, C++); Web/Internet experience (JAVA, HTML, ASP, XML, XSL, JavaScript) is also a bonus *Warm Regards, Mike Paske [email protected] Direct: 973-893-7411 * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GTA DBA" group.
