Below is the requirement Location: *NYC* Duration: *12+months* * Job Duties:* *Role:* Developer, Sophis, Pricing Stream, US Capital Markets Technology The purpose of this role is to develop Sophis Interfaces to RBC Pricing Models. This role requires designing new architecture, developing and enhancing components and performance testing. *Core Competencies* *Technical Skills* * * • 5+ years of system development experience with strong analytical skills. • Highly skilled in programming languages: C++, VC++, Shell programming. • Highly skilled in databases Sybase, ORACLE • Working experience on MQ series, CORBA Architecture. • Strong knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems. • Considerable knowledge of multi-tier system development techniques and experience in all project cycles. *Business Knowledge* * * • Knowledge of financial markets, derivative products and accounting systems is preferred. • Experience in trading and risk management systems and mathematical modeling. *Primary Objectives* • Proactively participate in the project development strategies, system design, and in delivery time lines assessment. • Based on the business requirements, define implementation designs and plans. • Customize the Sophis system to new financial products and create new Graphical User Interfaces. • Ensure Quality Assurance by working in concert with the QA group. • Document all procedures, and ensure orderly transfer of knowledge to the post-implementation system support team. • Confirm to all RBC IT standards for developments and security. • Provide level 2 supports to the business users of the systems. *Core Behaviors* • Ability to work with offshore teams. • Strong team player with excellent communication skills. • Must be accustomed to working closely with the end users. *Business: *Global Arbitrage Trading, Global Equity Linked Products Technology: QA team, Quants Model team, MO Pricing team *If you are comfortable with the above requirement please send me matching resumes to **[email protected]* <[email protected]>* along with the below details. * 1.
