*Job Title : Java Web Developer Location : San Antonio, TX Duration : 6 Months Rate : $50/Hr* Middle to senior level developer, self-starter consultant will be an excellent fit. JDK 1.5 with Java and JSP development, capapble of deploying and building a web application on a web/application server (Example: Tomcat). This application is being developed on a Windows platform. Oracle database calls (ODBC/JDBC). Web Services experience is a big plus. Experience in an SAP environment is also a big plus. 4-8 years of Java experience managing application design, development, maintenance and delivery with at least 4 years with application servers: Oracle Application Server (8i/9i/10g/11i), SQL Server, J2EE Application Server, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, Web Logic. Strong experience developing and implementing technical solutions in a J2EE web environment. Experience in writing to application APIs supporting applications like SAP and other third party solutions are a plus. Documentation of development including application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications Experience supporting vendor applications; demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations.
