*Title : SharePoint Developer Location : Herndon, VA Duration : 6 month Rate : Market 8-9 Years + Consultants Only !!!!!* Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate for this position will develop and deploy enhancements to the client’s Workflow Management system based in SharePoint MOSS 2007, MS Access 2007, Oracle 10g and SUN Java. The job calls for strong interpersonal skills to work with end-users to gather requirements, suggest solutions, troubleshoot problems and support business needs. The role will work with a small team of developers/SharePoint arch to develop new features to the SharePoint 2007 based Workflow Management System as well as upgrade it to SharePoint 2010. The right candidate will also be well versed in reporting technologies and will be required to provide a framework for reporting on statistics evident in managing workflow across client’s operations footprint. Create, develop, deploy, and maintain software programs and applications related to the efficient conduct of workflow management for the enterprise throughout the entire lifecycle management process. Conduct software testing and quality assurance after code development. Conduct various types of analyses to ensure scalability, efficiency, and standardization of software supporting development of workflow application tools including: software and code requirements, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis, object oriented design and analysis (OOA/OOD), software modeling and simulation. Responsibilities also include working with other cross-functional teams to develop and identify integration-points into other enterprise systems including Granite, SalesForce.com, BMS Remedy, CSG, ICOMS, and others. Required Skills: At least 5 years experience with MS SharePoint platform and Oracle Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technical areas: Systems S/W design, H/W integration, S/W development, Quality Assurance, System requirements and external integrations Design, code, and debug applications in the following languages: SharePoint MOSS API, ASP.NET/C#, Java, HTML, XML, XLST, SOAP, ASP, MS SQL, SQL Server, Visual Basic Expert level of programming and front end graphical user interface design proficiency required using at a minimum: MS SharePoint Designer, MS SharePoint (MOSS), MS Visual Studio. Understand, develop, and program workflow web-based applications based upon process definition requirements Develop user and administrator-based reports indicating the status of process workflows and other application enhancements based upon requirements. Ensure performance tuning, improvement, documentation, usability, and automation of all developed code. Be able to plan development and manage personal workload in support of multiple integration projects at once. 1+ years experience with Report writing Nice to Have: Experience with SharePoint 2010, HTML, Java, PERL, C, C++, UNIX, Linux, Redhat Linux.
