*Job Title : WebSphere Commerce (WCS) Administrator Location : Bothell, WA Duration : 6+ Months Rate : Market* *Job Description: *WCS Administration experience: 4+ years Previous WCS Development experience highly desirable. *Role Description: *The Sr. WebSphere Commerce Administration Lead must have extensive product knowledge on all subsystems-Catalog, Pricing, Order Management, Promotion, Marketing etc. using IBM WebSphere Commerce V6.x – V7.x (Enterprise or Professional editions.) This administration professional must be well versed with how the product components interact and the capabilities of various components, as well as the configurations and architecture of production and staging systems. The position also manages and provides leadership to an on/off shore team, developing skills of the team and being responsible for the success of the initiatives is key. *Technical Skills and Experience Required: *Extensive knowledge on WCS tools-WAS Admin Console, IBM Organization administration console, IBM Management Center, Commerce Accelerator. Create, bulk upload and maintain catalog data and attribute dictionary using CMC and dataload utility . Create and maintain catalog filters, price rules, customer segments and promotions. Good understanding and hands on experience with different subsystems in WCS. Partner in architecting of WCS site implementation solutions. Develop Commerce infrastructure strategies for scalability on demand and stability with a goal of near zero downtime. Maintain environments by applying necessary fixpacks/feature packs. Good understanding of Database concepts using Oracle. Must be able to create and execute complex SQL statements. Knowledge of Staging propagation and workspaces. Build and Deploy Process within WCS. Understanding of IHS and proper processes for customer facing SEO configurations. Good understanding of UNIX Shell scripting and administration. Work experience with Java/J2EE architecture and application development including Servlets, EJBs, JMS, and JSP. Good understanding and working experience in SOA. REST Webservices and SOAP services. Understanding of network technologies and clustering. XML and web technologies including AJAX, Web Services, JSON and XML skills. *Professional Skills Required: *Strong verbal and written communication Strong organizational and task management skills Prior exp with strong leadership, management, training and performance management skills Customer focused Ability to make decisions quickly and implement Must be a self-starter, very organized and able to work independently as well as in small groups, including customer technical and business. Ability to lead an on/off-shore team Provide On-Call Support as required. *Desirable: *Installation and configuration of IBM Management Center Install and configure WebSphere Commerce v6 – 7.
