Job Title : Linux Admin Location: Twinsburg, OH Duration : 3 +Month Contract Please send resumes of available and qualified candidates. I am seeking a seasoned Linux Admin for a 90 day consulting assignment. Our client is looking for someone to assist in bringing up our direct client's co-location sites for a number of applications. The candidate would need to start working right away and have experience with OEL, CentOS, Oracle, LVM, Apache. Some of the other skills you will be using are: Oracle (11.2.0.x), Cron, Windows, PL/SQL, C++, VB.Net, Oracle online redo and archive logs, and VMWare. The resources will need to do the following: Install OS and Oracle in three locations. Install the applications following a plan devised by the vendor. Document the process of installation to allow it to be followed by others Implement the failover and back up procedures for the environments Develop the failover and back up policy Install the use of LVM for use of reporting, development, testing and other environments Develop the cut over strategy (to move from the vendor location to the MTI co-location site(s)) Develop and implement performance monitoring policy Our client has an aggressive timeline for standing up this environment, needing to be complete by 9/1/2013. We will need physical and VM environments in the 24x7 environment that is being built.
