1.      Must have 3-5 years of prior experience as a Middleware
Administrator with WebSphere Message Broker and MQSeries.

2.      Must be Certified in Message Broker 7.0 or above

3.      Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as
outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

4.      Provide WebSphere Message Broker administration on Unix/Linux
platforms in a multi-vendor environment, while working closely with
Application Development, Database, Server and Networking Teams.

5.      Strong experience in administration and support of IBM Websphere
MQseries and Message Broker and MQseries v6, v7 and higher

6.      Experience in MQseries and Message Broker Upgrades to higher version

7.      Develop technical designs and policy/procedure documentation as
assigned.

8.      Strong Experience in Installing and Configuring WebSphere MQ and
Broker, apply patches, manage middleware infrastructure and monitor
performance/troubleshooting  in highly available and fault tolerance
environment

9.      Analyzes and resolves problems associated with WebSphere MQseries
and Message Broker

10.  Experience in raising PMRs, working with IBM Support team for
resolution

11.  Interact directly with internal customers or external service provider
to negotiate solutions and implementation specifics.

12.  Deploy new message flows, SSL Configuration for broker and Execution
Group

13.  Configure WSRR Connectivity, SOAP & HTTP Ports

14.  Configure database connectivity to databases (DB2, Oracle & SQL
Servers etc.,)

15.  Create broker topoloy - execution group creation, domains etc.,

16.  Other duties as assigned.

17.  Troubleshoot Integration and infrastructure issues. Integrate simple
to moderately complex Message Broker applications into DEV, QA and
Production environments.

18.  Should be able to work collaboratively with other Infrastructure and
Development groups to build and transition to Operations

19.  Knowledge of Shell programming

20.  Basic understanding of firewall

21.  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be
able to adapt to changing business needs. Strong follow up skills and
problem solving ability a must.
