*Immediate need a Environment Build Engineer - VA (100% Placement)* *Job Title : Environment Build Engineer Location : Reston, VA Duration : 6+ Months contract* *Required Skills:* *We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This position does require someone with prior experience in building Windows/Unix servers, databases, Middleware, storage and/or network. Prior systems administration and/or infrastructure experience is required (this is not an application build engineer position). In addition, experience with Microsoft Office and Visio are required.* *Here is the complete job description:* *This is a legacy remediation project. Candidates will be responsible for: Orchestrating infrastructure environment builds Reviewing engineering solutions and providing level of effort estimates to build each environment Maintaining and reviewing the master build schedule with impacted service lines to identify resource constraints Identifying all tasks required for each environment and working closely with the service lines to ensure timely completion and with the project managers to ensure that expectations are being met. Submitting a master ticket and all associated tickets for each environment build, tracks all environment requests throughout the organization, resolve issues and concludes each environment for the assigned projects. Facilitating build requirement discussions, identifying risks, and establishing timelines to meet business milestones.* *Basic Requirements: A qualified candidate will have prior experience in building Windows/Unix servers, databases, Middleware, storage and/or network. Experience as a PM is desirable. Need to identify opportunities for process improvements to the build process and assist with periodic management reporting. Must be highly organized and be able to work closely with technical staff, project managers and upper management. College Degree required and/or typically has 5-7 years related experience.
