*Location: Roanoke, VA* *Contract Duration: 6 Months* DataStage Developer/Administrator. The ideal fit for this contract position will have in-depth DataStage knowledge and have admin and upgrade experience. This client is preparing for an 8.5 to 9.1 upgrade. *QUALIFICATIONS: * · 5 to 7+ years of solid BI development experience with an enterprise level ETL tool. · 5 + years of solid work experience as a BI Developer for DataStage · Must have experience developing, designing and modifying DataStage 8.5 jobs · Must be able to write ANSI SQL of medium complexity. · Experience with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence principles and approaches a must. · Experience designing efficient BI solutions in a multi-terabyte environment · Experience with Dimensional and Relational modeling a plus. · Experience with SQL Scripting, Stored Procedures a plus. · Experience with ERWin, ER/Studio, Visio or other modeling tools a plus. · Experience administering DataStage Administration a plus · Should be familiar with: Windows, Unix, Oracle RAC, DB2, Transact SQL, DB2 SQL, Shell Scripting *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Responsibilities include BI design and development in a multi-terabyte environment · Develop DataStage jobs, data extracts · Modeling Datastage jobs · Maintain and enhance DataStage job schedules · Maintain and enhance security · Perform essential administration tasks including but not limited to maintenance, backups and upgrades · Individual may directly interact with various functional areas of the business and must be able to communicate at a technical and non-technical level. · Develop Design Documents · Participate in on-call rotation Regards, Mukesh *E-Mail* : [email protected] Cell : 732-722-2842 **Yahoo-IM- mukeshinc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GTA DBA" group.
