IT Quality Assurance Manager Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6months – 1year This position is responsible for developing and executing test plans. software applications and technology systems meet business and technology requirements that are consistent with current development and design standards. Develop and apply customized test procedures for the organization's products. Communicate with product developers and technical support specialists on software issues. Accountabilities 1. Designs and develops testing procedures to ensure that software products are within quality management standards; update and modify existing test procedures as necessary. 2. Develops test control databases. Maintains test databases and ensures their integrity and currency. 3. Defines test objectives and write test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. 4. Performs testing and de-bugging tasks according to defined quality processes. 5. Executes test scripts and validates results, reports discrepancies and follows through to ensure that all issues are resolved. 6. Identifies and documents client request, test results and actions. 7. Distributes test data from control database to development staff to satisfy adequate unit testing. 8. All other duties as assigned.
