*Location: Houston, TX*** *Contract Terms: 6 month+*** * * Responsible for managing, supporting, and updating client’s key web applications and its contents. The Middleware Administrator will support and maintain multiple middleware applications and web sites with various duties such as producing reports, software updates, monitoring uptime, and provide customer support, to ensure web services and programs function securely and efficiently. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in IBM WebSphere technology stack (minimum WebSphere Application Server v6.x and v7.x; optionally MQ, Process Server, Portal Server, HTTP Server, and Microsoft IIS). · Perform general application troubleshooting and resolution during system unavailability · Gather relevant requirements for Middleware support from IT teams · Design, deploy, and administer IBM WebSphere stack business applications · Perform deployment automation processes and procedures · Conduct performance tuning and improvement of business applications · Perform application and network topology design documentation · Document best practices and transfer knowledge to SAFG Middleware Services Group (MSG) members and customers · Conduct weekly communication and periodic status reporting · Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by MSG Manager · Provide customer service support to clients’ applications during USA CST business hours · Occasionally provide customer service support during weekends and after hours · Interact with application stakeholders and AIGGS technical teams as needed *Professional Knowledge: * · Strong skills in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring of WebSphere suite based applications: WebSphere Application Server · Good skills in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring of IBM MQ, WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Portal Server, HTTP Server · Strong Knowledge in implementing SSL-based configurations · Good Knowledge of network load balancing and firewall configuration · Good Knowledge of Linux/UNIX scripting · Good Knowledge of other Microsoft-based technologies (e.g. IIS) · Good Skills in Linux/UNIX administration Regards, Mukesh *E-Mail* : [email protected] Cell : 732-722-2842 **Yahoo-IM- mukeshinc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GTA DBA" group.
