*Position : Senior Technical Team
Lead*
*Location : Jersey City, NJ *
*Contract Terms : 6 Month *
Technology Lead is a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who
provides technology leadership for a new digital platform that focuses on
web content management, website search, web analytics and reporting,
digital marketing tools such as content optimization and targeting. The
Technology Lead is expected to demonstrate hands-on technology expertise on
integration frameworks around digital technologies and tools as well as
strong working knowledge of emerging trends in mobile, social and
multi-channel applications.
*Responsibilities:*
· Works across global delivery partner, digital marketing,
business, and technology and quality assurance teams to deliver large scale
complex, global, highly available and highly responsive technology
solutions.
· Work alongside the assigned project managers to provide technical
expertise and ensure that all required tasks are completed in the correct
order and to a high standard. Plans and executes end-to-end technical
delivery. Monitors progress of individual technical tasks to ensure they
are being delivered in a timely manner. Identify and communicate project
risk to Project Manager.
· Create system level design and detailed technical architecture
documents. Performs design and code reviews to ensure architectural
alignment and quality. Delivers the highest quality software using
unit/integration testing, continuous integration, build automation and
other industry standard best practices
· Provides technical leadership and Subject Matter Expertise.
Leads, conducts and facilitates meetings with business and technology
personnel as well as directs solution to system and business problems, and
performs gap analysis as needed.
· Maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide
trends and best practices. Independently conducts studies of new and
emerging technologies, and makes recommendations. Participates in
technology selection efforts, and develops proofs-of-concepts and
prototypes. Solutions must incorporate scalability, availability, security,
compliance and maintainability characteristics. Assumptions, costs, and
risks must be clearly articulated to senior management and stakeholders.
· Participates in continuous improvement by contributing best
practices, enforcing standards and improving processes. Maintains
relationships and collaborates with teams from other domains. Gain
stakeholder agreement for proposed solutions, and lead planning, analysis,
design, development and implementation of agreed solutions.
*Required Skills:*
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a
strong aptitude to understand business functions, influence in a group
setting and effectively communicate technical issues in non-technical terms
to business units.
· Demonstrate proficiency in problem solving and organizational
agility. Ability to work in an environment of change and uncertainty with
sound judgment under pressure.
· Solid experience in technical architecture including but not
limited to content management systems, digital marketing tools, integration
frameworks and distributed infrastructure design.
Hands-on expertise in content management solutions like Adobe and SDL, web
search, web analytics and reporting, content optimization, content
targeting, search engine optimization and search engine marketing.
· Hands-on expertise of J2EE, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL and XSLT.
Familiarity with internet standards and global regulations is required.
· Working knowledge of emerging trends in mobile,
social/collaboration, brand and relationship management is required.
· Familiarity with digital applications and integration patterns
for eCommerce and assisted sales channel transactions is desired.
*Qualifications:*
· Graduate Degree.
· 7+ years of total experience in web technologies.
· 5+ years of solid experience in digital marketing technologies.
