*Duration - 6 month+ contracts* The web service developer is responsible for developing web services based on requirements from technical analysts. This position will also create new and harvest existing web services via an IBM ESB integration platform. The candidate will design, develop, perform unit, system, integration and regression testing and implement web services through all environments. This position with adhere to the corporate standards established by the Technology Acceleration Center. Perform development tasks which will involve extraction and transfer of data, performing all associated transformations, validations, cleansing, and preparation of data for load into the applicable system(s). Work on elements of large, complex installations. REQUIRED: · Background and experience in enterprise level application integrations through an Enterprise Service Bus platform. · IBM SOA Platform skills (WESB, IID, WSRR, DataPower). · Extensive professional experience in building web services both through programming languages and platform tools. Strong technical acumen to high availability web services processing more than 100 million messages monthly. · Experience with Automated WSDL and XSD generation. Deep understanding of XML structures and transformations PREFERRED: · Professional experience building IBM MQ messages. Background engineering solutions that push and pull messages from queues and topics. · Professional exposure and use of industry standard security protocols. Hands on development of services which use security protocols including but limited to HTTPs, x.509 and XAML. · Experience using BPM tooling to create and interface with engineered business process flows. Preference given to engineers with IBM BPM 8.0 skills. · Experience with transforming message content into multiple formats.
