Role : Voice User Interface (VUI) Designer Duration : Long Term Location : Cary, NC *Roles and Responsibility:* · The Voice User interface (VUI) Designer is responsible for creating voice user interface designs for speech application. · He/she shall convert business requirements of the IVR experience, to detailed call scripts, which the IVR development team will use to write the IVR applications. · He/she will participate in meetings to discuss solutions and new applications and their VUI design · Assist in implementing these designs including interacting with Product Analysts, Application Developers, Grammar Developers and Testers. · Analyze results from the usability tests to determine the effectiveness of the VUI and speech application · Design call scripts using industry best-practice and departmental standards · Should be current with industry standards and best practices for VUI *Key qualifying skills:* · Should be well-familiar with *IVR Design, Avaya Dialog Designer, Visio Call Flow Design, Voice User Interface (VUI) Design *or similar. · Should have demonstrable experience in researching and understanding business requirements · Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills *Highly desirables (any):* · Knowledge of recognition engines (e.g. - *Nuance, Microsoft Speech *) · Formal training *in VUI design, linguistics, human factors and/or cognitive science* · Understanding of how voice and speech technologies work and their applications. · Prior experience with voice applications used on *handheld / mobile devices.* * Dev | Skolix LLC | 5600 Tennyson Pkwy, Ste 155, Plano, TX 75024| Phone: * 913-440-4174* |E-mail: **[email protected]** | Gtalk: ** [email protected] | **www.skolix.com* <http://www.skolix.com/>* **|* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GTA DBA" group.
