*Job Title: Cognos BI Report Designer Location: CHICAGO ILDuration: 3 month(s) * *Description/Comment: Products Specific Role Responsibilities for Cognos BI Report Designer: This role will focus on collecting and analyzing data to produce executive level business intelligence dashboards and reports related to Global talent within the Operations & Technology Human resources Group. * *Role Responsibilities: Functional Design Experience in Dashboards and Reports Preferable if resource has experience designing reports/dashboard in the HR Functional Area Preferable if resources have experience with IBM Cognos BI 10 Work with the client team to conduct design session and gather requirements. Coordinate with the Data Integration/ETL programming team on the design of data transfer mechanisms Analyze raw data to produce structured relational and/or dimensional data models. Produce technical design documentation including logical data models and detailed reporting specifications consistent with the reporting requirements. Develop Business Intelligence Reports and Dashboards in IBM Cognos BI 10, and occasionally in Excel Communicate with an internal team of business analysts and project managers Create and Manage database structures Understand the business concepts behind the reporting specifications * *Role Requirements: Expert knowledge of Cognos BI, and Data Integration tools & languages (ETL/SQL) Framework Manager modeling and Report Studio authoring.
