Phone/webex- possibly an in person to follow. *Location: Milwaukee, WI* *Local or near candidates is ideal* *Must have excellent communication* *Skills Required* (in order of prioritization): · SQL Server 2012 DB Design – Specifically related to moderate-sized SQL data warehouse infrastructure, and utilization of data load/query performance enhancing features such as partitioning, columnar store indexes, covering indexes, compression, etc. · Logical and Physical Data Modeling (PowerDesigner tool experience, a plus) · SQL Server 2012 Administration – Focus on differences between SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2012, Security Administration and leveraging Resource governance groups. · SQL Server 2008 DB Design & Administration (SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012 MCTS or MCITP certification preferred, but not required with 2+ yrs hands-on experience) · In-Place SQL Server Upgrade experience preferred (SQL Server 2008 to 2012) · SSIS and SSAS hands-on experience · Windows Server 2008 R2 working knowledge · Virtualized SQL Server Infrastructure (VMWare preferred) · Experience with EMC – VNX or VMAX storage solutions and the Avamar DB-Level and Image-Level backup utilities a plus. · Proactive SQL Server monitoring tool experience (IGNITE Confio, IDERA SQL Diagnostic Manager preferred) · Excellent communication and documentation skills · Team leadership/coordination/delegation experience Regards, Rachel Lian - Technical Recruiter ITBrainiac Inc.
