Job Title: Lead Business Analyst

A highly organized and analytical Business Process Analyst is needed to
support the implementation of a vendor based Contract Management Solution
(CMS) and an in-house developed Supplier Reporting System (SRS) for VITA.
A self-starter to develop actionable plans, to fully participate in
completing identified tasks (hands-on) and to lead the team in defining
processes, monitoring tasks, leading work sessions or performing the tasks
required to implement agreed solutions.
Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, the
ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal direction, the ability to
lead process improvement efforts and the ability to lead project activities
as needed.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the CMS implementation by working with VITA end users, technical
staff and vendor.
Ensure delivery of project deliverables per plan including business
processes, procedures and training as well as changes that result from
project implementation.
Monitor and manage project tasks, scope and timeline
Ensure the successful transition from project implementation to operations
Facilitate sessions to analyze workflows and define requirements
Document business processes, workflows and requirements
Provide user guidance and training as needed to support operational
activities after project implementation
Identify project-related issues, risks and solutions
Provide regular updates including project accomplishments, issues and next
steps
Support the implementation of an in-house developed Supplier Reporting
System (SRS) which is dependent on data from the CMS. SRS is in the latter
phase of testing while the CMS implementation is underway.
