*Position: Agile Coach/scrum master/scrum trainer * *Location: McLean, VA* *Duration: 6+months * *Please send me updated resume to [email protected] <[email protected]>* The Agile Coach will be responsible for working with business and IT teams across company that are interested in exploring and implementing agile project management and engineering methods. This position requires an experienced Coach with a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, including Scrum and preferably IBM's Disciplined Agile Delivery. This individual will be responsible for the delivery of training and the day-to-day coaching needed to transition traditional development teams to agile as well as continue to mature existing agile processes and teams at Freddie Mac. Scope of training and coaching includes team organization/self-management, Scrum, Agile engineering practices. The coach will also support the scrum master's delivery of metrics to track progress for ongoing projects. This role will also be involved in the continuous improvement of Client's agile methods and practices. Job Duties: * Act as an Agile Coach for 1-3 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work * Foster a collaborative , yet disciplined culture within Agile team and help them embrace the 'whole team' concept * Assess the Agile maturity and skill-growth for teams and provide training and feedback as required * Assist the program and project manager(s) with keeping the backlog groomed * Ensure cross-team coordination and improve team processes * Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing * Coach and mentor other scrum masters in our product team. Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams * Liaise between the developers and business team. Foster better communication between the disciplines * Strengthen our teams Agile practices. Actively contribute to the company's Agile and Lean Community * Provide instruction and training to software development teams in the area of agile software principles * Ability to operate independently within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines Skills and Credentials: * Certified scrum master/scrum trainer * 7 or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas) * 3 or more years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner or member of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations * Hands-on experience as an Agile Lead or Agile Coach, preferably with large organizations * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong facilitation skills * Strong coaching and mentoring skills * Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly * Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify win-win solutions * Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation skills Please reply with the updated word format resume and the below mentioned details as soon as possible, along with the best time to contact you on phone.
