Please send the resumes at [email protected] Job Title: Access/Cold Fusion Developer Location: Albany, NY Duration: 12 Months SERVICES Duties will include maintenance and enhancement of existing databases and software applications used to track and record activities within the Bureau, development of new applications and databases in response to new legislative or administrative initiatives, and updating the existing databases and applications within the Bureau to ensure that they are compliant and interface appropriately with the new Statewide Financial System ("SFS") and other relevant internal and external systems. The Candidate will be responsible to build both Intranet and Internet web applications to support the Bureau's responsibilities related to the Bureau's systems. In order to accomplish this mission, it will be necessary for the Candidate to become intimately familiar with the multiple applications that are currently being used in the Bureau. The Candidate should be familiar with MS Access, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Crystal Reports. BACKGROUND The Bureau audits thousands of New York State agreements and is responsible for production of numerous reports associated with the contracting process. Vendor Responsibility reviews and their related systems are central to this audit process. In order to carry out these responsibilities the Bureau utilizes various computerized programs. Assistance is required in the maintenance and enhancement of these programs. REQUIREMENTS The Candidate must: 2: Have at least eight years experience in database design and application programming, four years of which must be in MS Access and four years of which must be in Oracle database applications. 3: Have at least three years experience with each of the following: VBA, DAO, ADO, and Active X Controls. 4: Have at least five years experience developing advanced SQL. 5: Have at least three years experience developing web applications using Cold Fusion.
