Title: Project Manger Location: Reston, VA Duration: 6+ months strong business process redesign, information and data management program management experience Mid to Senior Level 10+ years of managing data / technical project experience. This position requires a combination of business and technical skills. We are looking for an experienced project manager to provide project leadership for the Counterparty Strategic Work. Individual will be responsible for owning project delivery and coordinating with the executive sponsors, business stakeholders and other team members. The scope of the project includes business process redesign and systems (Front End Applications) and database redesign. Develop data models, data glossary and prototype system and reporting requirements. An understanding of the components and considerations required when building Customer Facing Web Applications (e.g. Industry best practice , Look and Feel (GUI), key architecture components, business rules management, data management, reporting etc.) as well as Data Consolidation projects is a must. Responsible for developing, managing Counterparty Project Plan, Issues and Risks Management, Weekly reporting to Program Manager and Stakeholders Facilitating Information Gathering work sessions with business users Manage project resources (Requirements Analysts, Data Analysts, Systems Analysts, etc) Facilitate discussions with business leads, stake holders (Directors and above) and get their buy-in for the business requirements. Influence decisions. Act as liaison between IT and business area - facilitating discussions and information sharing Problem Solving Skills to analyze and identify root causes. Manage multiple work streams with different objectives, stakeholders and deliverables Responsible for developing and executing business project plan, all required PMO documentation Responsible for Project Financials and reporting requirements Run Weekly status meeting to review progress, discuss issues and facilitate issue resolution with project teams Manage Adhoc requests from internal and external stake holders Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Business Skills Mortgage Industry experience or financial / Counterparty Risk Management experience is preferred. Technical Skills Requirement Must Have Qualifications * 5+ years' technical project management experience * Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects involving business process /systems/data redesign work. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to influence and facilitate effective decisions * Proven ability to drive consensus and manage disparate resources * Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate effective teamwork and leadership * Track record of delivering on-time and on-budget * Strong ability to be flexible and willingness to pitch in as necessary * Strong results-oriented, detail oriented work ethic Familiarity with SDLC/AGILE/or similar methodologies Prior demonstrated experience with MS Office, MS Project, MS Powerpoint, Visio Please reply with the updated word format resume and the below mentioned details as soon as possible, along with the best time to contact you on phone.
