*Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (Contractor)* *Location: San Francisco, CA* *Job length: 6 months +* Client QA department is looking for an energetic, proactive and experienced Test Automation Engineer with a strong sense of personal accountability. In this role, you will work on web services, databases, website projects to write test automation code. *Responsibilities* will include writing test cases; executing tests; writing test automations; implementing test tools and automation frameworks; working closely with the developers to instrument the system for performance and scalability analysis; working with other engineering groups to conduct joint integrated systems tests; and conducting troubleshooting, problem triage, and root cause analyses. We work in a fast paced environment that requires the ability to balance between multiple projects, drive clarity from ambiguity, manage change with consideration for business continuity and the quarterly release roadmap, and ensure the high quality of our product. REQUIREMENTS: Functional/Technical Skills: * Experience in designing and developing generic test automation framework * Strong knowledge of Java & SQL * Experience in testing of enterprise scale product * Experience in testing large scale services, or performance/scale/stress is highly desirable * Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility and accountability * Able to perform black box testing as needed * Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and preliminary problem diagnosis *Education & Experience* * 5+ years of QA experience * 3+ years of experience in an automation (or development) role * Strong knowledge and hands on test experience of Web Services, SOA, XML, SOAP, RESTful API's and .NET or Java technology. * Strong object oriented programming, debugging, and test automation skills with C#, C/C++ * Experience in various phases of testing, designing and developing complex enterprise applications. * Excellent understanding of relational database design and strong transactional SQL scripting skills * Solid communication skills, verbal and written * Experience of writing unit testing codes in various unit testing frameworks like NUnit, or JUnit * BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience is required Thanks & Regards BALA *Advent Global Solutions, Inc. * Direct: 847-416-6809 eFax: 832 565 1418 3601 Algonquin Rd, Suite # 702 Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 Email: [email protected] | Web Site: http://www.adventglobal.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GTA DBA" group.
