The ideal candidate will possess: BA/BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or a related field is required An MBA and/or a CFA are a decided plus. Overall familiarity with the asset management industry and a working knowledge of a broad range of hedge fund strategies is a strong plus. 3-5 years of experience with software application within the financial services industry, preferably within an institutional asset management system or asset manager is a decided plus. Extensive experience in working with users to create business requirements. Experience working as a business analysis in the Agile Scrum development methodology. Techniques to elicit the requirements will include workshops, backlog grooming, user story writing, use cases and other methods appropriate to support the development efforts. Experience in multiple methods of requirements elicitation and collection. Exceptionally strong analytical and communication skills to facilitate the elicitation of user requirements, challenge preconceived concepts and propose alternative solutions, while maintaining strong relationships. Strong skills in user experience design work, proven by creation and use of early UI prototyping, low fidelity designs, and user interaction flows, a plus. Proven ability to work with and design functionality that supports complex calculations. Statistical analysis experience, a plus. Proven ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment Understanding of process-flow in a business environment. Experience in business process modeling and analysis.
