*Charlotte, NC* *3-6 months* *2 positions* Our Client is looking for experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA's to provide input to a solution assessment for a leading communications industry client. The client is heavily invested in Microsoft SQL Server Architecture along with best of breed solutions from Cognos and Micro Strategy. *Responsibilities of the Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrators* will be to provide technical assistance in the formulation of an architectural unification plan to consolidate multiple SQL Server instances into an optimized architecture. This new architecture will be tasked with improving existing report performance as well as providing a foundation for future diversified reporting needs *Requirements of the Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrators* are a minimum of 10 + years of large system DBA experience with emphasis on MS SQL Server architecture (2008, 2012, 2014). The qualified consultant will have proven depth in core DBA functions including software installation & maintenance, security, backup & recovery, performance tuning, importing & exporting data, and replication.
