*BI App**lication Developer – Advanced Reporting/Dashboard Developer at **Kansas City, Missouri 6 month Contract * The developer will be responsible to scope, estimate, design, document, develop, and test technical solutions required to satisfy the reporting needs of the business. Development tasks will involve building queries, reports, and dashboards. This individual will also be responsible for supporting reports and jobs that are in production. They will be expected to work closely with the Data Warehouse team to ensure the proper data is being used in the reports. *Skills:* *Required:* · 5+ years of IT work experience with 3-5 years Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Interactive Reporting or Oracle BI Publisher. · 3-5 years’ experience with Oracle EPM 9 or higher Interactive Reporting skills. Includes building queries, reports and dashboards. · OR · 3-5 years’ experience Oracle BI Publisher 10g or higher. Includes building complex templates and data models. · Experience in production support and development which includes developing/debugging Javascript, deploying and scheduling jobs, troubleshooting issues and setting up security. · Experience supporting a 24/7 production reporting environment. · Excellent communications skills both verbal and written. · Exceptional problem solving skills with strong technical background. · Willingness to learn other tools and technologies as needed. *Desired:* · Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to follow the process and provide the appropriate documentation when needed. · Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment. · Development Experience with OBIEE 11g is highly desired. · Knowledge of EPM Repository is a plus. · Shell scripting and PL/SQL scripting is a plus. · Financial Industry experience is a plus.
