Please see the heads up on the Java requirement they need not to be an architect.
>From what I know of this project assignment, I believe a senior programmer would be most desirable. I think an architect is overkill. The description leaves out a key point. The current system is written in Seam, a framework that is no longer being developed. They want to move the system to a new, more current architecture. I think someone who has worked with Seam, JBoss and Oracle database, who can read and comprehend the Seam code, make decisions about it and take it to a newer technology (JSF, spring, etc.) would be ideal. The attached resume has an impressive technology scope; however, it does not look like a good fit for the position, based on what I know about it.
