*Job Title : **QA Engineer* * Location : **Middleton, WI *(53562) * Duration : 6+ Months* *Job Description:* Client is looking for experienced software testers familiar with digital video editing. Responsible for end-to-end testing of our latest creative software product as part of the scrum development process. · Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. · Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products. · Analyzes reports and recommends corrective action. · Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures. · Isolate problems and produce product defect reports. · Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. · Work with developers or other QA engineers to resolve issues. · Interface with developers, and technical support to resolve product or system malfunctions. *Responsibilities will include:* · Functional, regression, integration, performance, and exploratory testing · Developing test plans and procedures based on functional specs · Executing test plans and scripts · Reporting defects and documenting test results · Identifying related areas to test based on delivered bug fixes and features · Participating in the scrum process, including team planning and daily standups · Communicating accurately about software quality to team members and management · Troubleshooting issues from a customer focus and responding to customer issues as requested *Skills:* · Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience. · Minimum 3+ years of experience. · Knowledge of JIRA and/or Creative Software products and/or competitive video editing products a plus.
