*Job Title:* *BUSINESS ANALYST*
*Duration: Long term*

*Mortgage experience a must.*
*Mandatory Skills:*
· At least 3 years of experience as a BA for MORTGAGES. They won’t
take any candidate without 3 years in the mortgage field as a BA.
· Excellent verbal communication skills- the candidate must be able
to communicate effectively to all levels.
*Job Description:*
· Facilitate requirements gathering: coordinate with product
management, design and development to define and document features and
experiences
· Ensure requirements are met: Be a point of contact to provide
clarity on requirements and the definition of done
· Work with cross functional stakeholders to translate requirements
into something developers can understand
*Daily Functions: *
1. The ability to coordinate testing efforts with external customers.
This will require very strong communication skills.
2. The ability to work on multiple projects at one time. This needs
to have been previously demonstrated.
3. The ability to be able to document requirements/processes via use
cases. Typically requirement documents have been created, but the team
leader is interested in using use cases going forward to document
requirements.
4. Systems analyst type of skills. The work will involve mapping of
requirements to downstream systems. For example, the BA may need to create
a functional specification which states that ATTRIBUTE A in a request
coming from Bank of America needs to be transformed (this can be a mapping
to our client’s naming standard for example) and then persisted into a
database (into a particular table and column). This does NOT mean we are
looking for a developer type resource.
