12 Months • Must have 8+ years of experience in SQL server platform (SSAS/SSIS/SSRS)and proficient in DB level programming • At least 6 years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (data modeling, stored procedures, ETL Architecting, functions and query optimization) and knowledge of SQL Server best practices in SSAS/SSIS/SSRS. • Experience with Analytical Data Modelling and exposure to different DW schemas (like STAR and SNOWFLAKE) • Strong experience in RDBMS, database concepts and technologies • Managing high volume of data with adherence to all industry standards of development and best practices • Good understanding of transactions, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies and life cycles as well as ETL and MDM technologies • Understanding of dimensional modelling • Extensive knowledge on Data profiling with OLAP architecture • Responsible for developing relational and multidimensional database queries, stored procedures • Responsible for gathering requirement, function specification preparation and handover to offshore team • Responsible for design and development of SQL Server based BI solutions. • Responsible for design, create and tune database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support logical and dimensional models. Maintain the referential integrity of the database. • Responsible for designing and implementing specific proof of concepts/components as and when required.
