Client Facing Experience is a GIANT plus 3. healthcare *Client Job Description: * *Sr. Software Engineer – (Java Application Development)* · Design, develop, and maintain various aspects (*i.e.* domain model, services, etc.) for key functional subsystems. · Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality product and other deliverables in a timely manner. · Continuously evolve and contribute to a culture of software excellence: architecture, design, coding standards, testing, patterns, automation, tools, etc. * Job Qualifications/Requirements:* · Healthcare industry application development is a critical requirement (insurance industry experience considered) · 5+ years’ experience building custom applications with Java/J2EE programming · 2+ years of Java development (Flex development is desired) · 3+ years of Jasper & iReport development is a critical requirement · Experience with Hibernate and Spring desired · Experience with other contemporary Java technologies (e.g. JBoss, jBPM, Quartz, etc.) · Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) · Web services: SOAP and WSDL · Integration of 3rd party applications · Data/object mapping, import/export, and XML processing; · Dependency injection, unit testing, design patterns · Impeccable software engineering habits (e.g. unit and regression testing, code reviews, etc.) · Mobile development skills are desired · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · A positive outlook, a passion for software engineering and the ability to work as part of a team. · A sense of urgency and the ability to hit the ground running. · Team leadership and coaching skills; strong interpersonal communication skills. · 4-year degree in computer science or software engineering *Thanks & Regards!* *Mark * *Swift Pace Solutions Inc.
