One of our client is looking for a Senior .NET Developer.
Position Requirements:
Hands-on experience with Enterprise relational databases,
preferably Oracle including complex table joins, PL/SQL and stored
procedure.
Strong object-oriented programming skills using C# and working
experience on ASP.net
Superb interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as
well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 5 years of related
experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and scripting languages
Perl, Python, and UNIX Shell, awk, etc
Solid Financial knowledge on Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives
High degree of initiative and enthusiasm – must learn PIMCO’s
detailed processes and technologies that support Trade floor operation.
Proactive about recognizing potential improvements or impending
problems.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Develop time sensitive trade room applications/reports using
script language/Java under Unix/Linux as well as SQL, .Net and SSRS.
Work with stakeholders to understand and document application
requirements and to ensure applications are developed according to
specifications.
Migrate existing processes to a new technology platform.
Collaborate with other developers and project managers to
complete, thoroughly test, and deliver innovative software solutions.
Troubleshoot data or software issues and be able to rapidly
implement fixes.
Gain a detailed understanding of PIMCO’s trading operation and
provide high level of support and functional assistance to end users.
