Looking forward for your response. *Role:* Citrix Admin *Location: *Lake Forest, IL *Duration: *Long Term *JOB DESCRIPTION:* *Environmental Details:* XenApp 6.5/ XenDesktop 7.5 NetScalar SDX and VPX Over 5000 Citrix users by EOY 2015 (95% XenApp, 5% XenDesktop) 300 Server XenApp farm (divided equally between Prod and DR) 24x7 support model *24x7 SME or Citrix trained resources at Tier 1 (Helpdesk, at least one per shift)* *24x 7 Tier 2 support, similar to Platform Ops teams* *Ops management* -Monitoring, alerting, remediation - Server Infrastructure/vCenter - Citrix Components -NetScaler (Access Gateway and Load Balancer - ZDCs and DDCs - XenApp/XenDesktop *One on-shore Tier 3 Citrix Deployment Engineer* -See attached for support responsibilities *Operations Support* The Deployment Engineer is responsible for build out and farm/server lifecycle activities based on existing solutions, designs and services. In addition, the Deployment Engineer will be the primary resource for supporting any rollout of Citrix related solutions. The responsibilities include the following: Maintain the Citrix base images (XenDesktop and PVS) Maintain Citrix infrastructure servers such as Access Gateway, Web Interface, Zone Data Collectors, EdgeSight, etc. Manage Citrix server lifecycle (add, remove, retire, and refresh) Execute product lifecycle activities such as testing and installing XenApp service packs Work on build out and new application deployment-specific projects Provide application integration support to the business owner and packaging teams as needed Assist product owners in smoke-testing of applications Maintain Citrix development and test environments The Deployment Engineer may own or specialize in one or more technical components in support of production operations Please provide me the updated resume at your earliest.
