*Job Title: BI ArchitectLocation: Denver, CO or West Chester, PADuration: 12+ months contract* Job Description: Seeking Principle BI Architect experienced in designing and deploying large scale, clustered BI systems such as OBIEE and Tableau. The candidate will work in a DEVOPS framework to resolve technical issues. This is a senior position within an organization reporting to the Manager, Software Dev & Engineering; this group has responsibility for creating the EDW - Enterprise Data Warehouse, serve as single location of and single version of truth for data analysis for client business. The Principal Architect will play a lead role in these activities with a focus on successful and timely execution of the following Responsibilities: •Architecture and Administration of the OBIEE and Tableau Infrastructure •Day to day 7x24 production support for OBIEE and Tableau Infrastructure •Installation, Configuration of for OBIEE and Tableau environments (Upgrades, Patches) •Develop and manage software configuration and version control process •Develop, create and manage the OBIEE and Tableau - environment monitoring process. •Method and Procedure creation related to operation and administration related activity. •Communicate and perform analysis with Level-1, Level-2, Level 2.5 and Level-3 support team for problem resolution and root cause. •Conduct Operations readiness and environment compatibility review of any changes prior to deployment. •Proactive recommendation for improving the performance and operability of the data warehouse and Business Intelligence environment. •Development of scripts used to provide better reporting on environment or application performance and issues, or automatically correct issues as they occur. •Work independently with little supervision while providing clear documented status and progress of work activities and business issues that impact the department •Participate on interdepartmental teams to support organizational goals •Manage and Co-ordinate and work with off-shore team Requirements: Advanced Degree in BI/Analytics technical discipline or equivalent work experience. Strong preference for a minimum 7 years in architecting and building large scale BI systems (20,000 + users) especially OBIEE and Tableau, day to day - 7x24 production support for BI Platform using Linux & Windows operating systems. Working knowledge of Teradata, Vertica, Oracle & SQL Server.
