Primarily, the engineer will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and management of the Wi-Fi infrastructure for PCI compliance for Rogue Detection, security alerts and building process and procedures for PCI audit, tracking and reporting. Other duties include installation for break/fix as needed, monitoring, support, trending and reporting. This engineer will also analyze and provide recommendations in the resolution of wireless and network problems in a timely and accurate fashion. * *The Wireless operations engineer should have a working knowledge of the 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi networks and should possess a firm grasp of the technologies and tools listed below.* · *Cisco Wireless Access Points* · *Wireless Client Association* · *Cisco Wireless Controllers* · *RF transmission* · *IEEE 802.11 Standards* · *Wireless Sniffers* · *Experience with the common MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)* · *Cisco NCS Prime Wireless Management System* · *PCI Standards 3.0* *The Network Engineer should have a working knowledge of Local & Wide Area Networks and should possess a firm grasp of TCP/IP fundamentals.
