The Business Intelligence BW Developer – Project Delivery reports to the BI Manager and partners with the BI Solution Architect, and Customer Engagement team to develop an enterprise class data warehouse that utilizes SAP Business Objects, BW, and HANA technologies. The SAP BW Technical Lead will provide technical direction in the analysis, design, development, documenting, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of standard content and custom complex solutions within the SAP BW, HANA, and relational DW platforms within BI environment. The successful candidate will have the technical expertise and communication skills needed for analysis of complex issues, evaluation and selection of existing and new SAP technologies, and leadership of cross-functional teams to meet or exceed users’ requirements. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES* Own overall responsibility for the BW backend data architecture. Translate business requirements, high level design and master data requirements into detailed BW designs. Coordinate testing, cutover, rollout, and transition to production support. Develop Business Objects reports and digital dashboard reporting solutions. Work with the broader BI team identify BW process, data model, and technical design improvements to advance BI reporting and usage across business functions. Plan and execute release, support packages implementation, and version upgrades. Work with hosting and basis teams for infrastructure maintenance, operating system patch and upgrades, and planning server refresh efforts. Define level of effort and coordinate resources from the BI team to support these infrastructure efforts. Provide technical leadership for analyzing and optimizing BW load and report performance Develop, improve, and promote BW/BO standards, processes, and procedures for consistent execution and administration.
